Sonya is an established artist and salon leader with over 20 years of experience across the fashion, art, media, and beauty industries — 16 of those dedicated to Haim Salon. Her career at Haim has evolved from assistant, to in-house educator, to Creative Director, and now owner of the renamed Solara The Salon, giving her a deep understanding of both the craft and the culture of the salon.

Sonya’s creative foundation began in theater as a costume designer, where she developed an eye for detail, movement, and character expression. This naturally transitioned into a career in beauty, leading her to work on editorial shoots, film productions, NYFW, and stage presentations with Eufora International. Her work has extended to celebrity clients across magazine, television, and film projects.

She has trained extensively with some of the industrys most respected academies and artists, including Vidal Sassoon Academy, Ted Gibson Artistic Team, Riwana Capri, Dominick Serna, Michelle Zeller, Wella, Davines, Hattori Hanzo, and Eufora, among many others. Sonya is known for her precision hair cutting, dimensional coloring and blonding. Her leadership is grounded in continuous education, artistic growth, and an elevated client experience. She fosters a culture rooted in creativity, excellence, and authentic connection, ensuring every guest leaves feeling seen, supported, and effortlessly confident.
